Dear Mr Swearer,

I am writing you today to beg you to reconsider your decision to close down the printshop in order to expand the cafeteria. In your position of Parsons School of Design's new dean, I am sure that you are aware of the importance of printmaking in the world of arts. I have dedicated the past nine years of my life to developing a privately owned printmaking center in Seattle. Printmaking is my passion.

I trust that your vision for improving the Parsons School of Design includes teaching students the respect and beauty of ALL artforms as well as encouraging in them the spirit of exploration.
