Dear Dean,

Are you kidding, closing the printshop at Parson's to expand the cafeteria!!!??? I teach at SUNY Brockport and rebuilding the printshop here for our program. With the long history of this special art, how can you possibly destroy it? Every time a student pulls a print, it is a part of our history. Digital progaming important, but, why destroy exclude, weaken your program for a cafeteria. Come on!!I am a member of printmaking organizations around the country and working hard to bring printmaking back into the program here at SUNY Brockport. Thank God have the support of our Dean here. Please spend some time rethinking this decision. Your program will weaken. Your printmaking students will transfer. Your reputation will be severely tarnished. No doubt you will be getting a lot of negative e-mail regarding this tragedy if it should come to pass.
